June 10 Live, the 1st quarterIt's been 4 months already since I joined Live and I'm still YET to play online. It's not that I don't want to or couldn't organise something, I'm almost at my target for buying a new TV, which means I won't have to suffer auto-standby's after about 30 minutes of play. I've been enjoying a fair bit of Crackdown and since downloading the free content that includes the 'Keys to the City' cheat mode, I even moved the X360 to the living room and played all the way through each boss, now I just need to do that in the proper game... Need for Speed Pro Street looks good from the little teaser trailer, if you're on QuakeNet IRC, come to #NFSPS where people are welcome to come and get info, discuss and whatever about the next-gen NFS title. February 08 3 weeks in paradiseWell, maybe not paradise, but the Xbox Live experience has been good so far. I'm yet to play online, but I'm not really bothered about that, the ability to get demo's a week earlier than Silver members is good I suppose. Downloaded some demo's of games I wanted to try that were available and also some Live Arcade titles, Bankshot Billiards 2 must be the favourite XBLA game I've played due to me being a fan of pool games, but I don't think it's worth the 1200 points (£9 approx) that it costs. Some of the arcade classics cost 400 points which I think is also a little too much, I think if they were 250 points, more people would buy them, I know that I'd be more interested in buying the games on there if they were dropped by 250-300 points. Anyway, my free month runs out on the 16th, so I'm going to have to get a 12 month subscription which is £32.99 from Amazon if I want to carry on downloading demo's early and maybe even playing online... January 21 Yet another blogI seem to be accumilating blogs lately.
My main blog which I post my nonsense on is at www.acemanonline.co.nr and if you feel like it, you can also visit a site I post gaming news and reviews on at www.mentalgamers.com which is kind of why I use the nick MentalAceman for my Xbox Live gamer tag and also on YouTube.
I'll try and update this now and then, but as it's mainly my Xbox Live Live Space, it will basically update itself with my gaming details as well as my Xbox 360's blog which is a blog I don't have any control over as the content is taken from what I do and play on my Xbox 360. |
